The Short Version

  • We never sell your information. Ever.

  • If you subscribe to The Agent Letter or The Broker Letter, we use your email address to send you that letter. Nothing else comes with it. You can leave in one click.

  • If you use one of our free tools, like the Mindset Tax Calculator, we keep your answers so we can send your results and write to you about what they show. You can ask us to delete them at any time.

  • If you buy something, Stripe handles your card. We never see or store your full card number.

  • The site uses Google Analytics to see which pages get read. If you choose Accept all, it also uses the Meta pixel so our ads can reach people who've visited. Choose Accept essential and it won't.

  • Write to [email protected] and we'll show you what we have, fix it, or delete it.

The rest of this page is the detail.

1. Who We Are

larryheathcote.com (the "Site") is operated by Mind Shift 4 You, LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company ("we," "us," or "our"). Larry Heathcote is its founder. We offer programs under the names The Unforgettable Agent and The Unforgettable Broker. Mind Shift 4 You, LLC is responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

Contact: [email protected] · 1164 Woodland Church Rd, Wake Forest, NC 27587 · +1 919-420-9845

2. What This Site Does and Doesn't Do

The Site is where Larry publishes his articles (The Room, for agents, and The Office, for brokers), The Agent Letter and The Broker Letter, and information about his books. It also offers free tools, such as the Mindset Tax Calculator and the Blind Spot Diagnostic, and sells programs and coaching for real estate agents and brokers.

This policy covers the whole Site, every page on it, our online course portal, and the email we send. Some older web addresses (for example theunforgettableagent.vip and theunforgettablebroker.com) now lead to pages on this Site, and this policy covers those pages too.

3. Information We Collect

When you subscribe to a letter. Your email address. The form also records, behind the scenes, that you signed up on this Site and the campaign link that brought you here, if there was one (for example, a link from LinkedIn or from one of our emails). These are called UTM parameters. They tell us which places send readers, not who you are.

When you use a free tool. Your first name, your email address, every answer you give, and the results we work out from them. See section 4.

When you use the contact form or email us. Your name, your email address, the topic you pick, your message, and anything else you choose to include, plus the same behind-the-scenes details as the letter form.

When you buy something. Your name, email address, billing details, what you bought, payment plan status, and refunds. Stripe processes payments. Card and bank details are collected and stored by Stripe, not by us. We receive confirmation of payment, the last four digits of your card, and related transaction details. We never store full card numbers.

When you take a course or join a program. Your logins, the lessons you've viewed, your progress, downloads, and which live sessions you attended. Live sessions run on Zoom and may be recorded.

When you book or apply for a call. Your name, email address, the time you picked, and anything you write in the application, which may include your years in the business, your approximate commission range, and what you've tried before. If you give a phone number, see section 8.3.

Collected automatically when you visit. Through Google Analytics: the pages you view, how long you stay, the site or link that referred you, your browser and device type, and your approximate location (city or region, worked out from your IP address). If you allow advertising cookies, the Meta pixel records your visit for Meta (see section 7).

When you open or click an email. Our email system records whether it was delivered and opened, and which links were clicked. Some email apps open every message automatically, so these numbers are rough.

What we don't collect. We don't ask for government ID numbers, health information, biometric data, or precise location, and we don't want them. Please don't put them in a form.

4. Your answers to our free tools

This gets its own section, because it's the information that says the most about you.

What we keep. When you use the Mindset Tax Calculator, the Blind Spot Diagnostic, or any other free tool on the Site, we keep each of your answers on your contact record, along with the results we work out from them.

What we use them for. To show and send your results. To make what we write to you afterward fit the pattern your answers describe, rather than sending everyone the same thing. To improve the tools.

Who sees them. We do, and the service providers who host or send them for us, under contract. **We never sell them, and we never show your individual answers or results to your broker, your brokerage, or anyone else.** If your brokerage bought you a seat through an Agent Team License, your brokerage may receive an anonymized summary across at least ten people, showing how many fall into each pattern. Never yours by name, and never your answers.

How long we keep them. While your contact record is active, and up to 36 months after your last engagement with us. Then we delete them.

Deleting them. Write to [email protected] and we'll delete your answers and results and confirm when it's done. You don't have to give a reason, and it doesn't affect anything you've bought.

5. How we use your information

- To send the letter you subscribed to, and the one welcome email that starts it.

- To deliver your tool results and write to you about them (section 4).

- To deliver what you buy: access, receipts, cohort schedules, and support.

- To reply when you contact us, and to run the calls you book.

- To send other marketing email when you've signed up for it, and only until you leave.

- To learn which pages and emails are useful, and which links bring readers.

- To keep the Site working, secure, and free of spam, fraud, and abuse.

- To meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations, including keeping a record of anyone who has unsubscribed so we never email them again.

AI tools. We use AI tools to help run this business, for example to draft and edit writing, to help answer messages, and to look at overall Site and email numbers. We don't use payment details, government IDs, or biometric data with AI tools. Where a vendor's settings or contract let us, we don't allow our vendors to use your information to train their general-purpose AI models. To ask us to keep your information out of any AI-assisted work, write to [email protected] with the subject line "AI Opt-Out."

6. Who we share it with

6.1 Service providers

We use a small number of companies to run the Site, take payments, and send email. They handle your information only to provide their service to us.

- GoHighLevel (also called LeadConnector). Hosts the Site, its forms, the course portal, and the calendar; stores contact records; sends email. https://www.gohighlevel.com/privacy-policy

- Stripe. Processes payments. https://stripe.com/privacy

- Google (Analytics, Tag Manager, Workspace). Site analytics; our email inbox. https://policies.google.com/privacy

- Meta. The Meta pixel, only if you choose Accept all. https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy

- Zoom. Live program sessions and calls. https://explore.zoom.us/en/privacy/

6.2 Our promise about the letters

Subscribing to The Agent Letter or The Broker Letter signs you up for that letter, and nothing else. We won't add you to any other email list or sales sequence because you subscribed. You'll only hear from us about programs if you sign up for something yourself, for example by using the Mindset Tax Calculator. If you do, we may connect the two records so you don't get duplicate emails.

6.3 Brokerages

If a brokerage buys seats for its agents, the brokerage never receives any agent's individual answers, results, or messages. See section 4.

6.4 Other reasons

- The law: if the law requires it, or to respond to a valid legal request.

- Safety: to protect our rights, our readers, or the public.

- A sale of the business: if Mind Shift 4 You, LLC is merged or sold, your information would move to the new owner under this same policy.

6.5 Selling and "sharing"

We don't sell personal information. No list rental, no list swaps.

If you choose Accept all, the Meta pixel lets Meta use your visit to show our ads to you and to people like our readers. Some state laws call that "sharing" for advertising. You can say no: choose Accept essential, change your choice later (section 7.3), or send a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser, which we treat as a no.

7. Cookies

Cookies are small files a website puts on your device.

7.1 What we use

- Strictly necessary. Keeps the Site, its forms, checkout, and the course portal working and secure, and remembers your cookie choice. Always on. The Site needs these to work.

- Analytics. Google Analytics counts visits and shows which pages are read. On unless you choose Accept essential.

- Advertising. The Meta pixel measures our ads and helps them reach people who've visited. Off unless you choose Accept all.

7.2 Who sets them

Most strictly necessary cookies are set by GoHighLevel, which runs the Site, and by Stripe on checkout pages. Analytics cookies are set by Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager. Advertising cookies are set by Meta.

7.3 Your choices

Use the Cookie Settings link at the bottom of any page to change your choice at any time. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though checkout and the course portal may stop working. You can opt out of Google Analytics on every site with Google's browser add-on: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

We treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser as a choice of Accept essential.

7.4 How long they last

Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. The others expire on a set schedule. Google Analytics sets its cookies for up to 2 years. We check the full list whenever the Site's tracking changes, and if any cookie lasts longer than that, this section will say so.

8. Email, letters, and phone

8.1 The letters

- The Agent Letter and The Broker Letter each send once a week, on Sunday morning, plus one welcome email when you subscribe. Nothing else comes from a letter list.

- Every letter has an unsubscribe link. One click and you're off. No "are you sure?" page, no survey.

- Every letter carries our postal address, as the law requires.

- You must be at least 18 to subscribe.

8.2 Other email

Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link and our postal address. Leaving stops marketing email. It doesn't stop email about something you bought (receipts, access details, cohort schedules), because those are part of what you bought.

After you unsubscribe from anything, we keep your email address on a "do not send" list. That's the only way to make sure you're never emailed by mistake again. It isn't used for anything else.

8.3 Phone and text

If you give us a phone number, for example to book a call, we use it only for that call and for reminders about it. We don't send marketing texts. If that ever changes, we'll ask for your consent first, and this policy will change before we do.

9. How Long We Keep It

We keep information only as long as we need it, then delete it or strip it of anything that identifies you.

- A letter subscription. While you're subscribed. If you stop opening letters for 12 months, we may remove you to keep the list clean.

- The "do not send" list. Kept, so we never email you again. Your email address only.

- Free tool answers and results. While your record is active, up to 36 months after your last engagement (section 4).

- Marketing contact records. While you're subscribed, up to 24 months after your last engagement.

- Purchase and payment records. 7 years, for tax and accounting.

- Course access and progress. While you have access, plus 24 months.

- Contact form messages and email. 24 months after our last exchange.

- Google Analytics data. 14 months.

- Records the law requires us to keep. As long as the law requires.

10. Your Rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

- show you what personal information we have about you, and give you a copy;

- correct it if it's wrong;

- delete it;

- stop using it for anything you no longer want, including advertising (section 6.5).

Some U.S. states give you these as legal rights. We give them to everyone.

How to ask: write to [email protected]. We may need to confirm it's really you, usually by replying from the same email address. Someone you authorize can ask for you, with proof that you authorized them. We'll answer within 30 days. We won't treat you any differently for asking: not your access, not your price, not your service.

If we say no to part of a request (for example, a purchase record the law says we must keep), we'll tell you why. You can appeal by replying with the word "Appeal," and we'll answer in writing.

11. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect what we hold, including secure (https) connections, two-step sign-in on our accounts, and limited access. No system is perfectly secure. Use a strong password for the course portal and don't share your login. If you think something has gone wrong, write to [email protected].

12. Children

The Site is written for working real estate professionals. It isn't meant for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from children under 13 (or under 16 where local law sets a higher age). If you think a child has given us information, write to [email protected] and we'll delete it.

13. Visitors Outside the United States

The Site is run from the United States and written for readers in the United States. We don't market to people in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom. If you visit from outside the U.S., your information will be stored and handled in the U.S., where privacy laws may differ from yours. The rights in section 10 apply to you too.

14. Other Sites

The Site links to other sites, including booksellers, Substack, Medium, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and Larry's Mid Life Mind Shift site at mindshift4you.com. Some pages may show an embedded video. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and when you use them, theirs applies, not ours.

15. Changes to This Policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. If a change affects how we use the email address you've already given us, we'll tell you by email before it takes effect.
